What Camera Should I Buy?

ok. So for the last month or two I've been thinking about upgrading to one of the Canon 'D' Series. I want to buy one that would still be on the professional grade level, but not drain myself of all monies.
I've asked a few different people [photographers], but they all seem to run around the same bush and never really answer my question. Tonight I was on the photog. institute's, that I'm going to go to next fall [hopefully], website. Rowan posted the below blog entry, and I was laughing the whole time- and I think I know which one I want to buy now. Hope this helps all of you photogs. looking to upgrade.

Little D and Big A!

 Little D is my nephew, and Mandy is my sister (in-law) =) We recently just got all of this snow. So we went out on Sunday and took a few shots in the -12 degrees haha His expressions were all him, we weren't doing anything to get those hilarious looks! Enjoy!

I like to start em' young and teach them that Canon's the way to go!
